Ports AHOY! DHS edition
AP is reporting that the Department of Homeland Security objected to the UAE deal at first until special security provisions were written into the deal. But as we already know, thos provisions are meaningless.
Jerkoff Chertoff is now saying he didn't know about the deal until he read about it in the paper, even though his own department objected to the deal. Wonderful.
The question is now, who exactly sitting on teh CFIUS meeting when this deal was passed? And why haven't they been fired?
