Death of The old Media

Rogers talks about this. About how the X-Box being able to play games, do IPTV, DVR, VOD and even caller id on TV all in one box, with no setup, will kill old media. Especially with 10 million of them already out there.

I wasn't sure at first, until I read this. And then I became a believer.

If they do in fact have the service working now, and are just working on setting up infrastructure, then... damn. And since (I am assuming) all it will take is a software upgrade on the 360 to get it doing IPTV. then the MSIPTV service will become the most popular IPTV service.

And it seems you can play games while the dvr is downloading the background. Which just makes the service even hotter.
