Like Wikipedia- Only crazier.

P.Z. mentioned something I had heard about last week, but ignored. A conservative 'alternative' to wikipedia: conservapedia

I ignored it because I thought their objects to Wikipedia were stupid and that it would be full of stupid psuedo-science and other flim-flam.

I was so wrong. It is full of comedy gold.

A special prosicutor was named to investigate Clinton for allegations of impropriety in the Whitewater real-estate scandal, an investment of Clintons in a failed real estate venture. Although nothing came out of this investigation, and it turned out that Clinton actually lost money on his investment, one of the results of the investigation was that the special prosecutor turned to investigating other Clinton activities, one of which (the Monica Lewinsky scandal) resulted in an impeachment trial. Bill Clinton managed to serve two terms without botching the prosecution of two wars, manipulating intelligence, engaging in a systematic program of torture, or mishandling the federal response to flooding of a major American city. Obviously, he is the devil incarnate. Clinton also attempted to use the American military to kill Osama Bin Laden and Al Qaeda, an action which was properly seen as a mere attempt to distract the nation from the Monica Lewisnky scandal.
From here.

Now, as Patrick pointed, maybe some of these are very subtle satire. Or maybe not so subtle.

And it is possible, like when you look at the moon page.

Skeptics sought to explain this remarkable phenomenon by saying that tidal forces on Earth caused a bulge on the Moon, thereby locking in the rotation of the Moon so that its same face always presents to the Earth. They asserted that the planet Mercury has a similar locked rotation due to gravitation forces from the sun, such that the same side of Mercury always faces the sun.

But this explanation was ultimately proven wrong.[1]Mercury does not always present the same face to the sun as claimed, and instead switches the side that it presents to the sun every full revolution. As to the Moon, the tidal forces on the Earth cannot account fully for its bulge or egg shape. The cause of the bulge on the Moon to lock in its rotation remains a mystery to those who reject design.

But then read the moon history page.

For those too lazy to click the link:
Aschlafly (Talk | contribs) (implying a lengthy geological history is unnecessary and doubtful

One guy reverts the page repeatedly over the course of a couple of months to remove any kind of scientific information on the moon.

And that's not all of the comedy you can find on the site, look up evolution for a laugh, or Islam.
