There is a report floating around the internet about personal identification with the parties. It shows that since 2001, self identification as republican has been falling, until it is now at the current low of 35%, and democratic is 50%. Very good for us.
What I find more interesting though is the rates over the past seventeen years is that republican has been more than democratic twice, in 92 and in 95. It seems to imply that democrats have a much larger base, but that the republican base was more active. At least until 2004. With the magic of the internet I hope we get just as active.
