Harry Reid proves once more why he was the best choice for majority leader.

The republicans were going to filibuster the minimum wage increase as long as they could to avoid having to talk about the Iraq War.

Reid, in a show of brilliance, said fine, we'll take the minimum wage increase off the table, and we won't vote for an increase in our own pay until we vote on the wage increase.

And then suddenly, no more filibuster.

The man has such testicular fortitude. He is showing the republicans he won't be bullied.

Which is exactly what we want.
